Team Sarah

Team Sarah is a coalition of women dedicated to advancing the values that Sarah Palin represents in the political process. Men welcome too!

So I just applied to join TeamSarah.org, what do you think my chances are of being accepted? None, since I was honest in my application and provided them a link back to this site. So why did I apply? To prove a point about Palin supporters in general, TeamSarah.org in particular and Palin herself specifically.  They have no room for dissenting opinion.  To them, everyone that doesn’t agree with Sarah, is a ‘hater’.  They have no problem making personal attacks on others (Monegan), or swarming blogs with their comments (ADN Politics), while at the same time nobody is welcome in their inner sanctum that doesn’t genuflect in the direction of Queen P.  You can’t even get past the front page of teamsarah.org without having your application accepted.  Given the turnover in Palin’s administration, I think we can surmise that she doesn’t value or even tolerate dissenting opinion in her court either.

We need leaders that are willing to accept constructive criticism, embrace dissent and are capable of responding in a logical, intelligent and honest manner to questions or challenges.  Palin is not that kind of leader.  Those that support and defend her most remind me of those that are members of any cult.

Sarah, I was surprised when I heard the announcement last Friday and at first disappointed and then I thought you had
your reasons and then you explained and I am sure you put much prayer behind your decision and I for one will
support you as much as I can. I am not financially able to do much but just to let you know I support whatever you
will be doing in prayer and in any other way I can. I know my son who lives in Alaska is probably disappointed and
I believe he is for you. The Lord Bless you in your future endeavors. David Baerresen
