It is a lot of work. But a farmer has to prepare the field before he can seed and have any hope of a harvest. I'm just tilling the field.

It's turned into a little more of a project than I originally thought. I think once I'm done with it though, it will be worth the effort. The toughest part is going through my 800+ list of people I'm following under AlaskanBest.com removing those that aren't Alaska specific.

It's exhausting and too much work. You had me thining of doing the same but btwn linked in, facebook, twitter and my own blog- I'm worn out!!!

Thanks for the outline of how you are splitting your twitter contacts into separate groups. I like that idea. I have run across the same online social media “social network” issues you describe. Thanks for the link to hootsuite. Good luck with your efforts!
